Coface Ranks 4th in Newsweek’s List of the World’s Most Trustworthy Insurers

Ranked fourth in the World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2026 list in the Insurance category by the American magazine Newsweek, Coface is the first and only French company to feature amongst the 28 insurers on this list, which measures the trust of clients, investors and employees.

Global recognition based on stakeholder trust

Published in collaboration with the research and data institute Statista, this ranking measures the level of trust placed in the company based on an assessment of the perceptions of clients, investors and employees. The ranking recognises a total of 1,000 listed companies across 23 different sectors, all of which have their headquarters in one of the 20 countries covered by the study. Participants were assessed in particular according to the following criteria:

  • the quality of products and services;
  • the client experience;
  • the company’s communication;
  • the quality of the company’s management, its values and its attractiveness as an employer.

A transformation driven by customer needs

This award recognises the transformation strategy implemented by Coface in recent years to enhance the quality of service delivered to its clients and partners. The Group is investing in data, technology and connectivity to enrich its offering and simplify the client experience through a global ecosystem of trade risk management solutions.

Coface is now the partner of 100,000 clients across nearly 200 markets, with 20 years’ average client loyalty and a client retention rate close to record levels, despite a highly competitive market and increased pressure on prices.

The Group’s service quality has improved significantly in recent years, with a Net Promoter Score now amongst the best in the market and the average response time to credit limit requests reduced by three times.

We are particularly proud to receive this award the year Coface celebrates its 80th anniversary. It recognises the long-standing trust built with our clients, our partners and all our stakeholders.

This recognition encourages us to continue our transformation to make Coface ever simpler, more connected and ever closer to the expectations of those who place their trust in us.
